Note: The language of the RHINO® Workshop is German. Therefore, all lectures will be held in German. However, for English-speaking RHINO® Workshop participants, all questions posed in English will also be answered in English.
The conditions of participation have been translated into English as accurately as possible.
In case of ambiguity or misunderstandings, the wording of the original German version shall apply exclusively.
General Training Conditions of the organizers of the RHINO® Workshop (hereinafter "RWO") for booking the RHINO® Workshop.
The following General Training Conditions govern the relationship between the participants of the RHINO® Workshop and the organizers of the RHINO® Workshop (hereinafter "RWO"). Deviating General Terms of Business or General Symposium Conditions shall not apply.
2.1 The subject of the contract is the specified activity or other performance, and not success.
2.2 The RWO reserve the right to replace advertised contributors with others and to make necessary changes to the symposium agenda while maintaining the overall character of the symposium.
2.3 If it is not possible to hold the symposium due to force majeure or for good cause (e.g. due to the sickness of the contributors), the participants shall be informed accordingly at the address specified during registration. In this case, the symposium fee shall be refunded. Further claims from the participants shall be excluded, particularly claims for damages of any kind.
Registration is online via the Internet. Registration shall become legally binding upon written confirmation (e-mail) by the RWO or execution of the order by RWO.
4. Terms of payment
The participation fees for the first early booking discount are due by February 28, of the respective calendar year (receipt of payment).
The participation fees for the second early booking discount are due by April 30, of the respective calendar year (receipt of payment).
Regular participation fees (no early booking discount) are due within 14 days (receipt of payment) of online registration.
Participation fees should be transferred without deduction to the stipulated account (see registration confirmation). Please specify "RHINO® Workshop Part 1 and/or Part 2" as the reference.
5.1 Withdrawal from a registration must be in writing. The date of the postmark or the date the fax is received shall be decisive.
5.2 For registrations before February 28, of the respective calendar year using the first early booking discount, withdrawal free of charge is possible until March 31, of the respective calendar year.
For registrations before April 30, of the respective calendar year using the second early booking discount, withdrawal free of charge is possible until May 31, of the respective calendar year.
For regular registrations after April 30, of the respective calendar year, (no early booking discount) withdrawal free of charge is possible within the first 20 days. However, this shall only apply if registration was made at least 50 days before the beginning of the symposium.
If cancellation is between these deadlines and August 31, of the respective calendar year, 20% of the participation fee shall become due as a processing fee or cancellation fee. The full participation fee shall be due for later cancellation, not appearing at the symposium or early termination of the participation. The RWO shall accept the designation of a substitute participant without additional charge.
6. Right of withdrawal for participants of the RHINO® Workshop
You have to right to withdraw your registration in writing within 14 days. Cancellation fees will not be charged. The date of the postmark shall be decisive for adhering to the deadline.
The training documents are protected by copyright. Copying, transferring or otherwise using the symposium documents is only allowed with the express written permission of the RWO.
8.1 The RWO does not assume liability for the loss, theft or damage of objects brought to the training by participants. Please check your own insurance coverage.
8.2 The RWO cannot accept liability for personal injury, not even during the symposium or as a result of participating in the symposium. Please check the validity of your own insurance.
8.3 The respective training shall be prepared and carried out in accordance with the state of the art and knowledge. The RWO shall not accept liability for advice given or the application of knowledge gained.
8.4 If it is absolutely necessary to accept liability due to statutory regulations, the liability limit or liability cap including all additional incidental costs and expenses of 400 EUR (in words: four hundred Euro) shall be agreed upon by the RWO and participants.
9. Data protection
With your registration, you declare your consent to your data being stored electronically by the organizers and the involved partners and companies. This data can be processed in line with the respective purpose. This particularly applies for the organization, execution and follow-up of the RHINO® Workshop.
10. Applicable law, jurisdiction, place of performance
10.1 German law applies exclusively with exclusion of the UN Sales Convention. The place of jurisdiction is Kassel, Germany.
10.2 The place of performance is the training location. The place of jurisdiction is Kassel, Germany.
11. Severability clause
Should one provision be or become ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the other provisions. In this case the parties would endeavor to replace the ineffective term with one which comes as close as possible to the commercial and legal intention of the ineffective provision.
